Webcam Checker

This page explains each element of the webcam check page.

The Monitordog Agent uses the webcam to detect events and suspicious activities.
Therefore, webcam usage is mandatory, and certain features may be limited if the webcam is not active.

Before using Monitordog, please use the provided webcam check feature to verify webcam access permissions and settings.
If any issues are detected during the check, the related webcam information can be sent to the Monitordog team for prompt support.

Camera Operation​

You can view the list of accessible webcams and preview the selected webcam feed.

Webcam Check Procedure

  • Click the Start Camera button.
  • Check the list of accessible webcams.
  • If permission is granted for the selected camera, you can preview the webcam feed and review its settings.
  • If OS- or browser-level camera permissions are not granted, an error will occur.
  • Once the webcam is successfully activated, the Send Report button becomes available.

When you click the Start Camera button, the browser will request camera access permission. You must allow this permission for the webcam check to proceed successfully.

Q. The permission request does not appear!​

A. In Chrome, click the site information (lock icon) button on the left side of the address bar to open the site settings panel. From this menu, reset the camera permission and allow camera access in the browser. browser permission setting

If the camera operates successfully, you can check the preview screen and webcam information in the corresponding section.
You can also send the collected webcam information to the Monitordog team for support.

If the webcam cannot be accessed due to browser settings, operating system (OS) configurations, or other reasons, an error message will be displayed.
In this case, the Send Report button will still be enabled, so please send the report to receive assistance from the Monitordog team.

Camera Information​

You can view the information of the active webcam along with the format test results.
After the webcam operates successfully, submitting a report will send this information to the Monitordog team.

Q. How can I access the webcam check page?​

A. Administrators can access the webcam check page from My Page. General users can visit this link, log in, and then use the page.
