Meeting Mode

This page describes the functionality of the Meeting Mode in the MonitorDog Agent.

When MonitorDog is running, the camera remains active to detect user events.
However, there may be situations where the camera needs to be used for other purposes, such as video conferencing or photography.
In such cases, enabling Meeting Mode will pause event detection and release the camera, allowing other applications to use it freely.

Behavior and Details​

  • When you click on Meeting Mode from the system tray icon, a confirmation popup will appear.
    Review the message and check the box to activate Meeting Mode.

  • Once Meeting Mode is active, you’ll see a popup that allows you to exit the mode.
    Clicking the button will immediately deactivate Meeting Mode.

  • If the camera is still in use by another application, Meeting Mode cannot be exited.
    Please stop using the camera in the other application and try again.
