MonitorDog uses AI-based webcam event detection and real-time process monitoring, which requires a certain amount of CPU and memory. For optimal performance, we recommend running MonitorDog on devices that meet or exceed the recommended specifications.
Q. My computer slowed down after running MonitorDog!
A. Due to the nature of AI-based monitoring, MonitorDog uses a noticeable amount of system resources. In our internal tests, on an Intel 13th-gen i5-1340P CPU, CPU usage remained around 10%, and memory usage was approximately 600–700MB.
