🚀 MonitorDog Adds Device Connection and File Control Log Features

💡 MonitorDog's detection scope extends to file tracking.

📢 Update Summary

  1. When controlling multiple files at once, logs are now grouped together instead of showing individual file logs.
  2. A new feature has been added to capture screenshots for each control action.

🔄 What's Changed?

📂 Log Recording When External Devices Are Connected to PC

MonitorDog now records information whenever users connect or disconnect external devices such as USB drives and external hard drives to their PC. Administrators can configure whether external device connections are allowed and whether they should be detected in MonitorDog Admin. This enables transparent monitoring of external device usage history and helps prevent security incidents.

📸 File Change Tracking Feature for Connected External Devices

MonitorDog now automatically records file creation, modification, and deletion activities that occur within connected external devices. Administrators can enable this feature by activating file change logging in MonitorDog Admin. This allows transparent tracking of file activities on external devices and can be utilized for security audits.

Important Notes

This feature is supported in MonitorDog Agent version 1.0.12 or higher.
